Carolynn Scheid

On Thursday, April 4, 2019, Carolynn A. Scheid passed away peacefully at home. Born in Huntsville Alabama in 1921, she lived her entire adult life in Falls Church, Virginia. Beloved wife of W. Edwin Scheid (deceased). She is survived by 4 children: Nancy Scheid McMahon (Charles) of Falls Church, Virginia; Terri Scheid of Ashburn, Virginia; Bill Scheid of Bristow, Virginia and Joellen Scheid of Beaverdam, Virginia; 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Suzann Scheid Southworth (Robert). Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. A visitation for Carolynn will be held Sunday, April 7 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Homes, 1102 West Broad Street in Falls Church. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, April 8 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 905 Park Ave. in Falls Church. An interment will occur Monday, April 8, 2:00 PM at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd in Arlington, VA.
