Chinh Huu Hoang
May 18, 1926 – August 3, 2015
Mr. Hoang was born in Guangzhou, China, and lived the majority of his life in Vietnam before immigrating to the United States.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Bich Thi Nguyen, and his twelve devoted children;
sons: Cuong, Truc, Chuong, and Trinh;
and daughters: Trung, Trinh, Kim Chi, Cham, Trang, Thuan, Thuy, and Chau.
Mr. Hoang was a member of the Vietnamese National Police prior to the fall of Saigon. When the Communist forces took over Vietnam, Mr. Hoang began an extended period of tribulations in a Communist “Political Re-education Camp”.
Eight years later, following years of dedicated and sustained effort by his family, Mr. Hoang was released from the camp and in 1983 departed Vietnam with the majority of his family for the promised land of the United States of America. Here he was able to celebrate the successes of his children and watched his family grow to 32 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren before he left this verdant earth.
We love you, Papa. We miss you, Papa.
