Connie Jones

Constance “Connie” Belle Leebrick Jones, 88, formerly of Falls Church, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday April 2, 2016 at the Potomac Falls Health and Rehab Center in Sterling, VA, with family by her side. Born April 13, 1927 in Lynchburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. Leebrick and Peggy Leebrick. She was married to the love of her life, Cecil Jones, from August 22, 1945 until he passed away on January 24, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her Brother James E. Leebrick and son in law, Charles E. Carter.

“Connie” had a love for God, family, and friends. She loved music and dancing, enjoyed shopping at Tysons Corner, reading a good gossip magazine, and more than anything else, spending time and talking with her loved ones. She was an active member of Capital Baptist Church in Annandale, VA, where she grew strong in her Christian faith. She will be remembered most for her great love and devotion to her family and friends and her deep faith in God.

She is survived by her daughter Dale Jones Harrison and her spouse William Dale Harrison of Meridian, MS, two sons Cecil "Rocky" Jones and his spouse Margarette Jones of Fairfax, VA, Timothy A. Jones Sr. and his spouse Susan Gainey of Herndon, VA, and former daughter in law Elena Shillingburg; nine grandchildren Charles E. Carter, Jason M. Carter, Christa M. Jones, Timothy A. Jones Jr. and his spouse Sarah, Jennifer L. Hedges and her spouse Brett, Rebecca C. Jones, Christopher C. Jones Dynise Espeleta and Gabby Morris ; five great-grandchildren Brandi Jones, Timothy and Tyler Jones, Brayden and Bryce Hedges. Also, many other relatives and friends.
