Craig was born on May 8, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Alice and Dr Harold Church. He overcame a profound visual impairment to receive a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
He enjoyed electronics and was a lifelong ham radio aficionado, maintaining his membership in the Alexandria chapter until his death.
He is survived by son David, daughter Lisa (Wayne) and grandchildren Rian, Jace and Noah.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Caryl.
Arrangements are with National Funeral Home and due to the pandemic, family will be holding a private graveside service.
