David Michael Ellis, 58, of Westmoreland County, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning with his family by his side. He is survived by Linda, his loving wife of thirty-three years, three daughters, Dana Newman, Aimee Bush, and Theresa Bailey, his brother John P. Ellis, five sisters, and five grandchildren. David worked as a heavy equipment mechanic, and was an avid boater, motorcyclist, and sportsman. As a competitive archer, he was sponsored by Browning and ranked number four in the world in 1986. He also had a lifelong love of competitive shooting. Services will be held at the National Funeral Home in Falls Church on Friday, September 1st.
