National Funeral Home & Memorial Park
David Zachary Warren was twenty-four when he passed away in Fairfax Virginia, on Monday October 3, 2016.
David was born on May 5, 1992 in Washington D.C., to Gary and Renee Warren, and his brother, Russell. He graduated from WT Woodson High School and attended George Mason University. However, David decided that college was not his path at that time, and began working at Trader Joes on Pickett Road, Fairfax, VA. He was great at his job and quickly gained the respect and friendship of those around him.
Apart from some soccer in his childhood, David was not much for sports. Like most of his immediate family, he had an incredible aptitude for computers and technology. He loved gaming, and when he was not at work or with friends, that is usually where you would find him. David’s sense of humor could catch you off guard at times, though once you caught on he was incredibly funny, occasionally at the worst times. He had the ability to laugh at just about anything especially the things that most of us have trouble swallowing.
His parents, Gary and Renee Warren, and his brother, Russell Warren, survive David. He never married nor had children, but was loved by many. His closest friends were Nick, Janet, and Ellie. Nick has been in David’s life since elementary school, side-by-side for most of their childhood. Janet and Ellie were friends David met while working at Trader Joe’s and he spent much time with both of them in his adult life.
David's service will take place on October 7, 2016 in the chapel at National Funeral Home in Falls Church, VA. A graveside service and burial will take place at his family’s plot in Brooklyn, NY.
The Warren family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness).
