Donald Lamar Owens, 93, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2017. Donald leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 72 beautiful years, Veronica Owens; his two beloved children Donald (Ruth) Owens of South Riding, Virginia and Marian (Wayne) Wiltshire of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his five adored grandchildren and eight loving great grandchildren. Donald was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, who served on the U.S.S. Dolphin Submarine during World War II. He worked for the United States Department of Treasury for over 33 years. Donald was also past President of the Mended Hearts Inc., Chapter 200, of Annandale, Virginia.Donald will be laid to rest at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Virginia, on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
