Eleanor O'Toole McMahon

Eleanor O’Toole McMahon, 96, beloved mother, grandmother, cousin and friend; born Saturday, April 14, 1917 in Hoboken, New Jersey to Robert & Eleanor O’Toole; went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 in Falls Church, Virginia with her loving family by her side. Originally from Hoboken, New Jersey Eleanor has been a resident of the Falls Church area for over forty years. Eleanor attended St. James Catholic Church, an avid tennis player at the Army Navy Country Club and very active on the board at Villa Le Community. Fond memories will always be cherished of Eleanor as she will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Eleanor is preceded in death by her loving parents, Robert & Eleanor O’Toole and her beloved husband, Col. Ralph M. McMahon. Eleanor is survived by her loving son, Brian Michael McMahon & significant other Ms. Dubhe Beinhorn; her dearly loved grandson, Sean Michael McMahon; her dear cousins, Mathew Ludwig and Nicole Ludwig and her dear friends, Beverly Anderson, and Trina Rinaldi. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Murphy Funeral Home; 1102 W. Broad Street; Falls Church, Virginia 22046. A funeral mass will be held Friday, January 3, 2013 at 2:00pm at St. James Catholic Church; 905 Park Avenue; Falls Church, Virginia 22046.
