Elsbeth (Beth) Eddy was born in Buffalo, New York on April 8, 1934 to Willy Gnueg and Wilhelmina Hartmann Gnueg. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Leonard John Eddy and her three children: John Carlton Eddy of St. Augustine, Florida, Bruce Carl Eddy of Laurel, Maryland and Lisa Marie Mrongowius of Bryans Road, Maryland.
She was a loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren; Steven Eddy, Christopher Eddy, Karla Barger, Alexandra (Lexy) Mrongowius and Ben Mrongowius (in heaven with her); and great grandmother to Ainslee and Flynn Barger.
Beth retired from the U.S. Department of Commerce as Chief of the Mineral and Metals Branch, Import/Export Division after a career of 35+ years. Beth and Leonard have been residents of Sebastian, Florida for almost 15 years.
Interment will occur at National Funeral Home in Falls Church, Virginia.
