Gene Ivan Martin, COL USAF (Ret.), 92, died peacefully on Monday July 9, 2012. He was a great veteran of WWII, where he received the Distinguished Flying Cross. He also served in Korea and Vietnam. He is survived by three children, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Murphy Falls Church Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church, VA from 3 to 5 pm on Sunday, July 15, 2012. Service and Interment with Full Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery on a later date.
