Gregory William Boughton, born in Akron, Ohio on October 7, 1953 to W. William & Bernice Boughton, died on February 3, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Martha (Solano) Boughton, and two sisters, Barbara (Jeff) Mihalik of Ohio and Pamela (Chris) Tavolier of Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
Greg graduated with honors from Ohio State University with a Master’s in Slavic Languages and Literature. Greg will be remembered for his sense of humor, devotion to God, and patriotism, often traveling throughout the US to visit national parks and historical sites.
He was truly loved. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends (including his countless feathered and furry ones.)
Visitation will be held at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W Broad St., Falls Church, VA on Wednesday, February 10 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Murphy Funeral Home on Thursday, February 11 at 11am. Burial to follow at National Memorial Park.
