Harold A. Jennings

He was born in Brownsville, Maryland October 8, 1919, the son of the late John E. and Naomi (Deener) Jennings.

Harold worked as a Pressman at Judd & Detwiler with 40 years of service. Harold was a member of Bridgewater Church of the Brethren in Bridgewater, VA., Rockingham Male Chorus and the Bridgewater Ruritan Club. He had served in the Civilian Public Service.

He was united in marriage on March 21, 1948 to Margaret Miller Jennings, who preceded him in death on May 22, 1991; Harold married Mary (Geiser) Jennings on November 29, 1992, who survives.

Harold also survived by two daughters, Sandy Yingling and husband Dale of Union Bridge, MD; Karen Dargavel and husband Alex of Littlestown, PA; a son, John Jennings and wife Mary of Bowie, MD; a step daughter, Karen Vicidomini & husband Larry of Harrington, DE; five grandchildren, Shaun Dargavel, Sara Yingling, Anna Jennings, David Jennings and Scott Yingling.

A memorial service will be held at Bridgewater Church of the Brethren at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 5, 2012 with Rev. Jeffery Carr officiating. Burial will held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA., at 10:30 AM.

The family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
