He was a great man fun to be around he always care about people around him. I missed him dearly  rest in heaven sir this is your caregiver kumba  my deepest sympathy to his family and friends  especially Ruth 🙏his life of his life 💔

We always got to visit with  Ira and Ruth when our grandchildren Michele and Michael  played sports.  I looked forward to these games we shared and enjoyed the visits with Ira and Ruth.  Also enjoyed our visit when Michael graduated from college and we went out to eat and visit after the graduation.  My deepest sympathy for you Ruth and totally understand your lost as you know my Gil went to be with the Lord recently.  Prayers for you and your family.

Dear Ruthie, Paul, Howard and children

Ivan and I have very fond memories of Ira . 
Although we live in London, England and have not spent the amount of time that we would have liked to , during each visit with Ira and Ruthie has been special and we do cherish every minute that we had together. Hashem brought us all together . 
We had a lovely time during our last visit Summer 2019 which left lasting memories.

I've had the honor of knowing both Ruth and Ira Leckner for 35 years.  Ira always accompanied Ruth to her hair and nail appointments at Progressions Salon  in Rockville.   I was a team member there and building relationships with the guests was my passion.
Ira adored Ruth and the feeling was mutual.  It was such a special relationship that truly warmed your heart. Ira always wore a big smile when it came to Ruth.  She was his beautiful love.  Anything she wanted was hers.  He loved making her happy.
I will never forget sweet Ira and his big smile.

Dear Grandpa Ira: We didn't know each other very well and we didn't spend much time together over the years, but I wanted you to know that I was very cognizant of the kind actions, gentle words and thoughtful deeds that you did for our grandchildren, Michele and Michael, throughout their childhood and early adult years. Your actions did a lot to put them on the right path and lead them in a direction that resulted in the fine young lady and young man that they are today. I'm so sorry for your loss.  I didn't know Ira all that well, but I have such fond memories of watching him dancing with his beloved Ruthie at some of the Senior Center events.  He certainly seemed to enjoy dancing, and he always seemed to have a smile on his face.  RIP.
