Irene Willis, age 88, passed away in her Falls Church, VA home after a brief illness. She was a graduate of Tufts University, was a paralegal in Washington and later a travel coordinator for Academic Travel Abroad, associated with Smithsonian Institution. Irene enjoyed travel, family, friends, and her beloved cats, Max and Angel. She was a loyal Redskins fan.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Horace D. and Dorothy G. Willis and sister-in-law, Katharine Willis.
Irene is survived by her brother, Ron Willis of Tampa, FL, nieces and nephew, Susan Crescentini, Ronald Willis, Cricket Mannheimer, and Ronda Willis.
Graveside service will take place at 1pm on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Oakwood Cemetery, Falls Church, VA.
