Isidoro Arevalo Soberano

It is with heavy hearts to announce that, Isidoro Arevalo Soberano, of Manassas, Virginia passed away on May 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Isidoro, fondly known growing up in the Philippines as (Aming) and then as an adult in the United States as (Sidney) was born on, July 23, 1954, in Asingan Pangasin, Philippines to his Father Sinforiano Alnas Soberano and his Mother Isabel Arevalo Soberano. Sidney is survived by his wife Marcelina Soberano and two sons, Benzon Soberano, (his wife Claudia and their two children - Lucas and Isaac) and Royce Soberano. He is also survived by his brothers, Nestor Soberano, (and his wife, Divina) and Manuel Soberano, (and his wife Enrita). Sidney was predeceased by his parents, Sinforiano Soberano and Isabel Soberano , his brother Roberto Soberano and his sisters Barbara Pascua and Cornelia Soberano . Sidney, had a passion for many things, but most notably was his love for martial arts, photography/videography, movies and boxing. While he enjoyed those hobbies/interests, his main priority, his Family was of huge importance for Sidney. Whether it was in was during his childhood, adulthood, fatherhood or grandfatherhood, he always found time to spend time with family no matter how near or far, and most especially if you were in a moment of need. Sidney was selfless, empathetic, and was always there for his family . He was always one of the first to go out of his way, to be there to help you, no matter what the situation was, even before you could ask him for help, he would already be on his way, whether it was family, friends, or even strangers he randomly met in public, it did not matter. A funeral mass for Sidney will be held Monday, May 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, followed by a visitation from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
