James “Jamie” Forrest Hargrave II, age 44, died January 26, 2022, at home in Falls Church, Virginia. He was a smart, witty and caring person who will be missed by many. He was born on March 2, 1977, Jamie attended Columbia High School in East Greenbush, NY.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from James Madison University and a master’s degree from George Mason University and worked as a cyber security consultant. While attending JMU, Jamie met Katie and the two were married in Jamaica, a favorite travel destination of theirs. Jamie was a lifelong skateboarder and bicyclist and enjoyed traveling, reading, and walking his dogs.
James is survived by his wife, Kathleen Muller Hargrave; his daughter, Holly Grace Hargrave; his parents, Jean and James Hargrave of Defreestville, NY; his sister, Allison Hargrave-Gaddy (Ethan) of Glens Falls, NY, and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Axel and Dolly.
