DENNING, John B., 97, died peacefully in his sleep on November 9, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospice with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife, Thelma; daughters, Elaine Gordon (Richard), Beverly Smith-Ford (Jeffrey) and son, David Denning (Christine). He is prede-ceased by his wife of 50 years, Evelyn Denning. John had an illustrious ca-reer as a consultant for the U.S. Army Ordnance at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. After retirement, he moved to Sebring. An avid golfer, he was in charge of the Men's League at Harder Hall for many years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sebring, Florida.
