Josefa L Macorol

Josefa Lazaro Macorol, 91 of Binongtoan, Maripipi peacefully passed away on September 10, 2020 at her home in Arlington, Virgina. Josefa or “Epay” was born to Teofilo Macorol and Berdandina Lazaro on July 27, 1929. She left the island of Maripipi at a young age and worked in America in hope to give a better life to her parents and send her nephew’s and nieces to school for them to be able to raise their families out of poverty. With all her sacrifices, she was not able to build her own family but instead focus on her aging parent’s, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She is very devoted to her faith and loves to travel to religious sites and prays daily devotion to the rosary. She will be missed by everyone in her family...may she rest in peace...
