On Monday, April 9, 2012, at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, Fl, Joseph Dean Garrett, formerly of Falls Church, VA. Preceded in death by his wife, Fay S. Garrett; beloved husband of Zula McLeod Garrett; beloved father of Karen Barrett and Deana Garrett-Lee. Father in law of Richard Barrett and Steve Lee. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three step children, Dan McLeod, Greg McLeod, Skye Brown; five step grandchildren, and a step great granddaughter. The family will receive friends at Everly Community Funeral Care, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA on Monday, April 16 from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 17 at the Church of Christ, Falls Church, 6149 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church at 11 AM. Interment National Memorial Park.
