Joseph Curran Massey

Joseph Curran Aloysius Massey, born December 19, 1945 in Washington, D.C., died November 30, 2015 in Washington, D.C. Oldest son of John Curran Massey and Dorothy Marmaduke Massey; beloved twin of the late Michael Francis Massey; brother of the late Paul Anthony Massey (Sue); the late Timothy Peter Massey (Carol); and the late Regina Marie Massey; also survived by sisters, Mary Ann and Margaret Therese Massey; Proud uncle of Jennifer Massey Miller (Gregory); Carrie Massey Keene (Joshua); Amanda Sue, Peter Anthony, Matthew Paul, Kristin Marie, and the late Michael Edward Massey, and the late Brian Paul Beidelman; Also survived by numerous cousins and friends; Devoted staff to a multitude of cats.

The family will receive friends from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday, December 7, 2015 at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St. Falls Church, VA. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, 3628 Rhode Island Ave, Mt. Rainier, Maryland. Interment services will follow at 2:30pm at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA.
