Karla Vern Paul (nee Knickman), 64, passed away in Houston, Texas, on October 5, 2011. Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Carl Vernon Knickman and Janet Elizabeth Morris (the latter deceased September 23, 2003) and the mother of Mara, David and Katie Paul.
In addition to her father and children, her survivors include sisters: Cynthia J. Huschka-Rodrigues and Rhea L. Kosar and their husbands, as well as three nephews, two nieces, three great nieces and one great nephew. She is also survived by many extended family members and lifetime friends.
Family and friends are invited to assemble at the National Memorial Park Funeral Home by 1:00 PM. A caravan will proceed from there to the Sun Singer section of the cemetery where the service will be held at 1:30 PM.
