On Saturday, April 13, 2013 of Fairfax, VA. Born July 30, 1921 in St. Louis, MO, he was the only son of the late John J. Skorupinski and Beulah Bernice (Krysinski) Skorupinski; husband for 62 years of the late Genevieve (Nowakowski) Skorupinski. Survived by his children, David, Diana, Leo A. and Mark; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Served with the U.S. Army during WWII, where he received five Bronze Stars. He was a retired IRS agent. The family will receive friends at the MURPHY FALLS CHURCH FUNERAL HOME, 1102 W. Broad St. (Rt. 7), from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 21. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 13807 Poplar Tree Rd., Chantilly, VA on Monday, April 22 at 10:30 a.m. Interment following at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Leo's name to the National Kidney Foundation .
