Leonardo "Leo" Mottola, 19, died at home in Falls Church Va. Leo is survived by his mourning parents, Gustavo and Bonnie and his dog Bo. Leo was born with a very rare chromosomal syndrome called Wolf Hirshhorn. Leo was nonverbal and nonmobile and had many life challenging conditions. Despite all of this, his aura was magical.
Leo had the most beautiful green eyes, the thickest head of hair and a mischievous smile. Leo loved all music. He loved to be held and cuddled. He loved being twirled around. He loved eating his Dad's organic meals. Leo had a happy life. He was the king of his castle. He was the biggest and greatest gift to his parents. He was very close to his grandma (Baba) who sadly passed away 3 years prior.
Leo taught his parents so many things...patience, acceptance, joy, peace, hope and above all unconditional love. Leo was all love, an angel on earth. He will live on and always be remembered by his parents and so many people all over the world that had the honor to have met and loved him.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Leo's memory to Capital Caring Kids www.capitalcaring.org/capital-caring-kids-ways-to-give/
