

She was born in Sterling, Va. daughter of Everett and Bertha (Kidwell) Smith. She was raised and educated there. She graduated from Leesburg, H.S. Margaret and Raymond were married September 24, 1948, and settled in Falls Church, a. to raise their family.
After the death of Mr. Donaldson, she began working at the Defense Mapping Agency in Bethesda, Md., from which she retired in the late 1990’s after over thirty years of service.
She loved to play piano, work in her garden, read, and most of all spend time with her 3 granddaughters.
She leaves two sons Robert Clark and wife Candace of Vienna, and Raymond Everett and wife Summer and 3 granddaughters Heather and Amy all of Falls Church and Meg and her husband Brian Parker of Fairfax; Margaret also leaves 3 sisters Gertie Fletcher, Nina Marie Rector, and Aileen Holmes and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will begin Saturday with a Chapel Service at 12:30 p.m. at National Funeral Home 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church. Burial will follow at National Memorial Park.
