Mary Gail Gray

The much loved wife of Fred Gray sadly passed away Wednesday, November 1st after a long battle to recover from many major surgeries. She and Fred celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary recently and were together more than 62 years. She was the wonderful mother to three daughters of her own but was called Mom by many. She was the very proud GG to seven granddaughters, and a great grand son and daughter. She so loved children that she spent a large portion of her life caring for them in her home. She was an avid gardener who spent many hours caring for her ever increasing gardens. She was a daredevil and risk taker at heart spending her 68th birthday skydiving, loving the adventure of it. She was the best person we know and she will be lovingly remembered for her kind, caring heart, her down to earth advice, her warm friendship and compassion and will be missed daily.

Friends and family may attend her viewing at National Funeral Home at 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042 anytime between 12p.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7th, a memorial service to follow from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to a children's cause of your choice or plant something in her memory.
