Mary Theresa Wisemiller (Tee) of Arlington, VA passed away peacefully at age 88 on Wednesday, November 27th, 2019. She was born in Washington, DC on January 4, 1931 to Irish immigrants, Patrick and Kathleen Fitzmaurice. Theresa was married to her beloved husband of 42 years, Eugene Wisemiller, who preceded her in death on November 25th, 1994. Together they raised a family of 5 children in Arlington, VA.
She was a woman of faith and gained enormous strength through God. She thanked the Lord for her blessings every day. In addition to her faith, she prided herself on her loving and welcoming home. Tee quickly became a mother figure to all she met; she saw the good in everyone and loved unconditionally. She loved cooking and entertaining in her home that welcomed everyone. Above all, Tee was a dedicated wife and mother who cherished the time spent with her family.
She was also preceded in death by her children; Jeannie and Steve; siblings, Jack, Frank, and Nora. She is survived by her children; Barry, Mitzie (Glenn), Joanne (Rick), daughter in-law Sherry Wisemiller; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and siblings; Mike, Tom, and Kassie.
A visitation will be held for family and friends; Friday, December 13th between 4-8 at National Funeral Home 7482 Lee Highway Falls Church, VA 22042. Mass of Christian Burial at Saint James Parish on Saturday, December 14th at 10am. Following the funeral Mass, a celebration of life will be held at Mark's Pub 2190 Pimmit Dr, Falls Church, VA 22043.
Donations in Theresa’s memory can be made to a cause close to her heart, Saint Jude’s Children Hospital.
