Born on March 8, 1943, to Meyer H. and Tess Estelle Silberman, Natalie grew up in Prince George’s County and attended High Point High School. Over the years, she built a life defined by resilience, creativity, and an unmistakable sense of style. She was formerly married to Ronald Kramer, and later to John Almacy.
Natalie began her professional life in real estate, but she truly found her calling in the world of fashion. She opened Ramona’s of Georgetown, a beloved boutique where her impeccable taste and natural eye for beauty quickly became her signature. Known for her timeless wardrobe, effortless elegance, and her uncanny ability to dress for any occasion, Natalie brought confidence and joy to everyone she styled—despite claiming she hated shopping for herself.
After closing the boutique, she continued her career in fashion as an accessory buyer and personal shopper at Harriet Kassman in Chevy Chase, frequently traveling to New York City for buying trips. She later joined Saks Fifth Avenue in Chevy Chase, where she spent twenty years as a personal shopper dressing many of Washington, DC’s finest. Her relationships with her clients, colleagues, and friends at Saks brought her great pride and fulfillment. She retired in 2020 during the Covid pandemic.
In retirement, Natalie cherished time spent with her family and her close circle of dear friends. She delighted in celebrating birthdays, sharing laughter, and enjoying countless glasses of Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay with the women she so lovingly called her “besties.”
Natalie was preceded in death by her parents, Meyer H. and Tess Estelle Silberman, and her brother, Norman Silberman.
She is survived by her daughter, Alison Kramer of Chester, MD; her son, Kevin Kramer of Brookeville, MD; her sister, Beth Kreimeyer of Chevy Chase, MD; and her grandchildren, Riley Wrenn of Chester, MD, and Logan Wrenn of Ellicott City, MD.
Natalie will be remembered for her style, her warmth, her quick wit, and her ability to make others feel beautiful and loved. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family of Natalie wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Eden House in Potomac, MD for the loving and compassionate care she received.
Funeral services will be held at King David Memorial Gardens, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22043 at 10:00 AM on Sunday December 7, 2025. A service will be held in the Chapel, followed by graveside burial at King David Memorial Gardens.
