Patricia was born in Falls Church, VA to Everett G. Penn and Thelma M. Penn on February 9, 1937, where she was raised and went to school. She married Robert L. Bottomley on June 10, 1955 in Falls Church, VA and was married for 49 years until his death in 2004.
She worked as a Phlebotomist for Quest Laboratories for 39 years, finally retiring at the young age of 79.
Patricia was involved in Girl Scouts and was the Girl Scout Leader for her daughter’s troops for many years. She was also very active in school activities while her daughters were in elementary school. She also loved gardening and working in her yard, reading, baking treats for her friends and neighbors, and her famous macaroni salad, a staple at every neighborhood event!
Patricia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Bottomley; parents, Everett and Thelma Penn.
Patricia is survived by her two daughters Deborah Busching and Cheryl Morgan; brother George Penn (Jeani); grandchildren Alyssa Busching (George Goettel), Amanda Morgan and Eric Busching; great-grandchildren Markus and Elena Goettel.
