Robert T Hayden

Mr. Robert Timothy “Tim” Hayden, age 67, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, South Carolina. He was born November 23, 1942 in Washington, DC at the old Sibley Hospital, the son of the late Robert Preston Hayden and Doris Marie Hartley Hayden and was the husband of Betty Jane Hankes Hayden.

Mr. Hayden grew up in Chillum, MD and was a graduate of Northwestern High School. He furthered his education and graduated from Mechanical Trades apprenticeship program, Local 602. He became a member of the Steamfitters Local 602 and was recently recognized for 45 years of excellent service. He was a self employed Mechanical Coordinator, a member of ASHRE Society, a member of Local 602 in Washington, DC and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

In 1985, he married his beloved wife, Betty Jane Hayden. They resided in Annadale, VA until just recently when they relocated to Indian Land, SC. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hayden are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Mr. Hayden is survived by his wife of 25 years. Betty Jane Hayden, a son, Timothy Hayden and his wife Rebecca of Fort Mill, SC, a daughter, Laurie Bothwell and her husband Keith Burgess of Bel Air, MD, 2 step sons, Philip Fedorchak of Owings, MD, and Nicholas Fedorchak of Waxhaw, NC, 3 brothers, Michael Hayden and Thomas Hayden of Silver Spring, MD and Patrick Hayden of Fredericksburg, VA and 4 grandchildren, Kayla, Reid and Karissa Hayden, and Amelia Bothwell.
