I am very heartbroken to hear the sad news. I am still in shock don’t know what to write. Your memories are so fresh & deep. I was looking forward seeing you after your retirement. We had spend so many celebrations together and had so much fun, those memories will stay in my heart. Your smiley face, kindness, patience of listening to all my stories will be remembered & cherished by me for ever. I want to thank you and regard you as my special aunt & friend. 🙏. May God provide you special place in heaven. 

I worked with Saroj at Arnold & Porter.  She was  one of the kindest, most generous and selfless people I have ever met.  We laughed at her mothering me and giving me all sorts of Indian home remedies if I had the slightest sniffle.  We talked about our lives and shared a lot of stories.  The most precious thing of all, which I will never forget, is that when she heard that my 4 year old daughter was celebrating Diwali at her preschool, Saroj took it upon herself to make sure my little one received a custom made sari from home along with a bindi and some bracelets.  My little daughter was so proud and happy to wear it- I couldn’t thank Saroj enough.  I would like to send my most sincere condolences to her family and friends; thank you for sharing her with me.

Saroj and I have been friends for almost three decades. During this time, I watched her as a hardworking  professional and a caring mother to her son and daughter. We have met at their birthdays 
 and graduations . We stayed at each others' place several times. There are so many precious memories of  Saroj that will remain with me for life. Now in God's hands, she is forever at peace. May God give strength to the family in this difficult hour.

My deepest condolence .  You have left behind beautiful memories. I just want to share that I will always remember your kindness, you made me feel welcomed , when I was new to the country. I have witness your dedication towards work. You been a great mother. You were neat, organized and informative person. Even distant, you have always been in touch . Coming from a different background , You have set an example by learning Sikhism,  doing daily path( Sikh prayer) encouraging young kids to learn Punjabi and Sikh history . Your sewa will always be remembered. Even with limited resources you have always lend helping hand to friends . I know you had strong will to fight and recover from this illness but god had a different plan for you. May you rest In Peace.

Saroj, we were supposed to go to lunch once we got back in the building!!!  I am going to miss you reaching out not only about work, but most importantly about our families, checking on me in my "love life" and about our hips!!! LOL  You were such a caring and selfless little lady with a joyful heart. Funny and as sweet as ever!!! Saroj was a hard working lady till the last day. Over the years  we stayed  with her family several times. She entertained us graciously every time. Lots of good memories. We have no words to describe the void created by her untimely departure from this world.

Saroj has been a colleague for 22 years.  However, she was more than a colleague, she was a dear friend.  She embodied the definition kind and caring.  Saroj gave of herself to others in a way that was compassionate and genuine.  She was an amazing mother, sister, daughter and friend.  Saroj  has left a lasting impression and has changed the lives of all of us who have known her.  

Mama Singh took me in for ~3 weeks while Amrita and I were studying for our boards together. Though it was a very stressful time, she always made us smile and laugh come dinner time - reminding us to breathe. Believing in us when we had our doubts. It wasn't a long time, but it was enough time spent to understand the type of person that she was. She had an infectious laugh and a glowing smile. She will be so missed.

Saroj was truly one of a kind.  As I read through all of the memories I'm wondering how she did anything else but be a supportive friend, but i know that she was so many things to so many people.  She had a work ethic that was truly second to none, she was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter and friend, you couldn't miss that through conversations.  But more than anything, Saroj shared herself with all of us.  We are all better for knowing her and she will be missed so much.  My heart goes out to her family and I hope that they will hold on to all the good memories and time will help them heal.  Today I spoke to many people at A&P who will miss her so much.  I will, too.   The void she left will not be filled, but her memory will always make me smile.

Saroj, my friend, you left us too soon.  We started out as friendly co-workers who helped each other out.  Then we became close and chatted almost daily, either on Jabber, through text or by phone. You always offered a helping hand and always listened so well.  We shared our good times and our frustrations and we talked about our children that we love so much.  Finally, I felt we were holding hands when we were going through our separate testing.  Unfortunately, you did not get good news.  You were so brave and still always thought of others first.  You were a true angel on earth.

Ms.Saroj Singh visited school, Jainendra Gurukul,India  in 2006 , spoke to  students  to boost their morale & kind enough to   donate A TV & made contribution for the welfare of the 
  special Children of the school  ,I was working there as Principle ...She also worked for North South Foundation to help needy Students, I used to co-ordinate in India ...Haryana Chapter...She was always there to help needy & brilliant  students  to  follow their  dream ... .Deep Condolences from the school management ,Sh Jainendra Gurukul ,India ...Sudha Babbar ....

Saroj Singh ,gone from my sight but never from my heart ..She had been a great ,dearest friend to me , we used to speak for longer durations at times sharing our v personal & heavy talks , She was  nearest to my heart .   A person whom I could trust to speak my mind & heart , A vaccume has created in my life  &I couldn't sleep since she left .  She was a true supporter of my emotions.  She was my most adorable friend but saddened me deeply leaving so early 
 , she promised to visit me soon after Carona .. She will be missed for her simplicity, kindness &helping attitude.May God give her eternal peace and rest .Nothing can fill the void... My deepest condolences to kids & family members... 🙏Sudha .India ....

Saroj was my backup secretary when I joined A&P fresh out of law school in 2010. We quickly became good friends. She was there for me any time I needed her, and was always a calm, kind presence no matter how hectic things were at work. I left the firm in 2014 and we have kept in touch over the years. She always asked about my babies (and later, my big kids!) and family, and told me about her family’s updates as well, always sharing the good and the bad with equanimity and grace. So as the years went by she was like an aunt to me.  She was full of sage life advice that I will always treasure. Her light went out too soon, and I will miss her so much. 

I worked with Saroj for many years at A&P and was so very sad to hear of her passing.  Saroj always had a smile on her face and was so caring of others.  She will certainly be missed!  Her infectious attitude was amazing!

Saroj and I met by accident - we worked in entirely different sections at A&P, but would prepare lunch in the communal kitchen around the same time. What started as small talk turned into regular conversations. Even when she was dashing off to do something time-sensitive she ALWAYS took a moment to stop and ask how I was doing. You'd always leave a conversation with Saroj with a smile on your face. 

To Saroj's family - I hope you're able to find some peace and comfort during this time. 

I worked with Saroj for many years.  Saroj was kind, compassionate and supportive of everyone with whom she was acquainted.  She met each day with a cheerful smile and kind words, no matter what was going on in her life.  She excelled at her job but you always knew people came first.  She had the uncanny ability to make everyone feel special.  

My deepest and most sincere condolences on the passing of Saroj.  She was a wise, beautiful, and generous soul. We checked in on each other during challenging times and I will always be grateful for her wisdom.  Saroj loved her family dearly. She  also encouraged me to celebrate my daughter's passion to dance professionally and took the time to view her dance videos. She will be missed and remembered always.  

I worked with Saroj at Arnold & Porter for nearly 15 years.  In addition to being excellent at her job, she was caring, selfless, positive, always trying to make others' lives better, and a joy to be around.  I learned many life lessons from her as I raised my boys over the years and she shared her wisdom with me.  I know she will be missed by so many people; my life is richer for having known her.

I worked at A&P with Saroj.   She was always so sweet and friendly.   She supported whatever fundraiser my daughter had and always kept up with how she was doing with her dance career.  We would always stop and chit chat in the hallways whenever we passed each other.   She will truly be missed.

I worked with Saroj at Arnold & Porter from 1999 through 2007. I was Managing Partner of the firm for most of that time.

Saroj was an extraordinary person and colleague. She was very smart, diligent in her work, and always happy to help others in any way she could. She was kind, generous, thoughtful, interested in other people, and funny. She was a devout and pious person and an inspiration to others. Working with her was a joy. Seeing her at the start of every day made me smile.

I was so sorry to hear of her passing at too young an age.  Please know how much others appreciated her and share and grieve your loss.
