Susan was born in Chicago, IL to Tom and Peggy Pritikin on May 8, 1942. She went to school in Chicago, and attended the University of Illinois for one semester. She was married to Gary Fierstien from 1964 to 1977, and married Martin (Pete) Holleran on May 4, 1980. The family then relocated from Illinois to Virginia.
She worked in retail, real estate and direct mail marketing during her life. She was involved in DMAW (Direct Marketing Assoc. of Washington), The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital and multiple groups in the community of Ashby Ponds where she lived the past 3 years and made many amazing friends.
Susan is preceded in death by both her parents and multiple aunts and uncles.
Susan is survived by her husband Pete Holleran, daughter Arlene Klapproth, son David Fierstien (Beth), her sister Deb Dolgin, grandchildren Abbey and Jacob Williams, and Kaitlyn and Max Fierstien, sisters-in-law Connie Holleran and Deni Pruitt, niece and nephew Lisa and Jeff Dolgin and many, many dear friends she has made through the years. And of course, her beloved cat Princess.
