Sylvia was born in New York, N.Y., and raised there. She later lived in New Jersey and for the last 25 years in Rockville, Maryland.
She worked as a book keeper before marrying. She was a stay at home Mom who raised her 2 daughters Meryl wife of Mark Klein of Fairfax Va. and Janice wife of Bill Marcus of Olney Md. She also is a very proud grandmother to Samantha wife of Yehuda Montrose, Melissa Klein, Allison Marcus, and Zachary Marcus; also great grand mother to Shoshana Montrose.
Services Friday at 11a.m. at National Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial in King David Cemetery
