William Alton Petitt

William Alton Petitt, age 92 and beloved husband of the late Joyce Hill Petitt, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025. He is survived by his five children Lisa Dawne McReynolds, William Matthew Petitt, Lydia Renee Alcott, Dara Danielle Acker, and Deidre Gabrielle Ferris; thirteen grandchildren: Justin McReynolds, Jesse McReynolds, Jake McReynolds, Krista Petitt, Kyle Petitt, Troy Petitt, Nathan Weller, Alyssa Honesty, Jonathan Weller, Kala Acker, Cody Acker, Bryce Petitt and Shaina Ferris; and seven great grandchildren Al Honesty, Ayla Honesty, Cora Weller, Landon Seneff, Lyra McReynolds, Cole Acker and MyKenna Petitt. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. He was known for his generosity, sense of humor, funny catch phrases, love of music, hard work ethic and unwavering love and support for his family and wife of 66 years.
