Hodges, George, born in Samos, Greece in 1915. A longtime Farmingdale resident he passed away April 4, 2017. Proud U.S. Army veteran of WW II. Loving husband of the late Madeleine. Devoted father of Denise Muro (Bob) and Jean Durso (Richard). Cherished grandfather of Jessica Giovan (Doug) and Gregory Durso. Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 3pm to 7 pm, at the Farmingdale location of the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Liturgy Saturday, noon, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Hicksville, NY. Interment , with military honors, following at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Pinelawn, New York.
