Ellenhorn, Gina Oliveira, 76, passed away Friday June 9, 2023 in New York City where she resided with her beloved husband Jon Ellenhorn. Born in Ovar, Portugal, she immigrated to the United States in 1958 with her parents and siblings. Gina was the first child of the late Herman and Elizabeth Oliveira. A loved sister to Odilia Ferrara, Olga Soriente and Ivo Oliveira. Gina was a doting aunt to Sara and Michael Joseph and great-aunt to Lyra. Gina started her professional career at CBS as an account executive. She then moved on into fine arts where she worked as a gallery director and art dealer for a major NYC art gallery. While there, she curated and wrote for significant gallery events. Gina will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Rest peacefully among the stars, we love you. The family will receive visitors Thursday, June 15th, 10:30 am-1 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Service Thursday, June 15th, 1 pm at the funeral home. Interment following at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
