

Carcione, Rosemarie T., 85, of Bethpage, passed away May 27, 2024. Born to Joseph Castoldi and Angelina Amaroso Castoldi in the Bronx in 1938. She was delivered by her grandmother, Rosa Musone Amaroso, and her mom’s sister Catherine Ciancio. Rosemarie was christened at St. Theresa’s Church in Pelham Bay in the Bronx. She attended New York Public Schools, graduating with honors from Evander Childs High School in 1956. She received a Ford Foundation Scholarship to attend the University of Michigan, but family matters prevented her from doing so. Instead, she attended Pace University at night while working a fulltime job at Lancaster Colony Corporation. Her professional career at Lancaster Colony spanned almost 38 years, where she quickly elevated her position to executive assistant to the president. Rosemarie married Anthony Carcione in 1964 at Santa Maria’s Church in the Bronx. They were happily married for 36 years until Tony’s Passing in February of 2000. They shared their love of boating and fishing on board their boat, “Lady Rose”. Rosemarie especially loved the holidays with all the traditional foods and celebrations. She shared her love for cooking with her cousin Angelo, trading recipes and food shopping. She enjoyed gardening and couldn’t wait for spring to plant annuals in the yard. She looked forward to the annual family reunion picnic at her cousin Kathy’s home in Brewster, New York, and visiting with the family. She leaves behind loving cousins and friends who have been an important part of her life. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, June 4th, 8:30-9:30 am at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Tuesday, June 4th, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Bethpage. Interment following at Calvary Cemetery, Queens.
