William F. Roach passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on July 2, 1929, in Valley Stream, New York, William lived a long and meaningful life devoted to his family, his country, and his community.
William was the beloved husband of the late Mary, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion. He was a loving and proud father to Brian Roach (Sheryl), Michael Roach (Roseann), and Patti Panetta (Andy). He was a cherished grandfather to Daniel, Dana, Ken, Matthew, Jonathan, and James, and an adored great-grandfather to Madeline, Archer, and Wade. William was also a dear brother to Arthur Roach and the late Robert Roach.
A proud United States Army Veteran, William honorably served his country from 1951 to 1953. His strength, integrity, and dedication were evident in every aspect of his life, and he will be remembered for his quiet resilience, unwavering love for his family, and deep sense of duty.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale, New York 11735. Interment will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
