

Born at Kaymoor, WV on June 8, 1931, she was one of 15 children born to Dave and Grace Elizabeth Haney Hall.
Annie loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed quilting, painting and writing stories about her early life. Throughout her many years, she worked at the Senior Citizens Center, WVU Extension Service, Fayette County Jail Museum and the Fayetteville Visitors Center. She was also employed at several schools throughout the county and especially loved working with children.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Lonnie “Shaw” Cody; one son, William F. Cody; one grandchild, Johanna Stiltner; and 13 siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Ruth Epperly; daughters, Elizabeth (Larry) Rodes, Linda (Joe) Shieler, and Annette Skaggs; grandchildren, Karen (Joe) Ostrica, Kelly (Emery) Wyatt and Joseph (Alison) Shieler; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Arrington, Lillie Shieler and Gwen Stiltner; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends she loved dearly.
Our family wishes to thank each and every Hospice caregiver who came to her home as well as the wonderful caregivers at the Bowers Hospice House.

As per Annie’s wishes, she will be cremated. There will be no services at this time, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. She will be interred in the Hall Family Cemetery on Pleasant View Road near Fayetteville, WV.
