

Frank Denoff, 97, went home to be with his Savior on Friday, April 5, 2025. He was born November 18, 1927 in Wellman, West Virginia to Jesko (Jack) Denoff and Lily Lawson Denoff. He married the love of his life, Lillian June Young, August 16, 1947 in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Mr. Denoff, a former coal miner, was employed first by Ames Mining Company and later retired from Cannelton Coal Company. He was a faithful member of Ames Heights Bible Church where he served in many roles including Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. Frank was an avid gardener and was known for growing some of the largest cucumbers around. He loved spending time with his family and many grandchildren.
His motto to his family was never give up.
He was preceded in death by his lovely bride of 77 years and his two sons.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sandra (Marshall) Pennington of King, North Carolina and Kim Stultz of Tobaccoville, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Scott (Treva), Rachel (Chris), Daniel, Aaron (Jamie), Zachary (Autumn) and Jacob; 11 great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Ames Heights Bible Church with funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Ames Heights Bible Church, 82 Ames Church Road, Lansing, WV 25862.
