Jacob Bryan Russell Neff

Born on October 14, 1997 at Scarbro, he was the son of Phoebe Florence Southall Neff and the late Edgar Bryan Neff.

Jake was an 11th grader at Fayetteville High School and attended the Fayette Plateau Center, Oak Hill, where he studied carpentry. He enjoyed swimming and fishing, 4-wheeling, dirt biking, camping, and hanging out with his friends.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thelma and Harold Southall.

Left to cherish many wonderful memories include his mother, Phoebe Southall Neff; sister, Morgan; brother, Wesley; son, Russell; and many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Pastor Danny Legg officiating. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM on Monday, June 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
