Pansy Amy Miller

Pansy was born October 27, 1922 in Hale Center, Texas, to her parents, James and Merwyn Rogers. She was one of five siblings, with Lois, John, Garland, and Billy. The family moved from Hale Center to the Stevenville, Texas area; then, in 1943 Pansy came with her family to Fillmore, California. There she married Yulan and together they created a home, family, and community life of lasting quality and many good memories.

Pansy is survived by Yulan Miller, her husband of 73 years; sons, Danny and Glenn and their wives, Linda and Marjorie; grandchildren, Cynthia Kjellin (Mans), Jeff Miller(Rhonda), Laura Miller, Stacy Miller(Melissa), Chris Miller(Lily), Ben Miller(Melissa), Amy Everts (Brett), Anne Hadsell (Neal), and numerous loving great-grandchildren; Her sisters-in-law, Betty Miller and Billie Inman, also of Fillmore, and their families, shared many years-full of Miller-family and friend life experiences on the La Campana Ranch in the “old days” of living in and around the Santa Clara Valley citrus community.

We love her. We will miss her. We will remember her.

Pastor Mark Rathe, of Faith Community Church, will kindly provide services for Pansy.

Services for Pansy will be held Friday, July 07, 2017, 9:00 am at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary, 600 Central Ave. Fillmore, CA… with graveside service to follow at Bardsdale Cemetery, 1698 Sespe Street at 10:30 am.

Visitation will be offered at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary in Fillmore on Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 PM.
