Charles “Chic” Houghton Jr., 76 of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on December 30, 2017 at his home. He was born on February 16, 1941 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Charles and Dorothy Houghton (Timberlake). Chic earned his bachelor’s degree from the Univeristy of Louisville. Most recently he was President of Encoat and Cathodic Protections in Houston, TX, Assistant Controller at Lukens Steel Company, Coatesville, PA. His memberships included Radley Run County Club in West Chester, PA and Hammock Dunes Country Club in Palm Coast. Chic enjoyed being with family and friends, playing golf and new car shopping. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Sharon, daughters, Teresa (Jim) Higgins of Bethlehem, PA; Marsha (Kevin) Wilder of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Hillary and Liz Higgins, Alex and Matthew Wilder.
