Mr. Greene was born December 26, 1930, in Washington, DC., a son of Wilmore & Eunice Wilson Greene.
Growing up in Washington DC, he worked for his father’s garage, was also a member of the D. C. Fire Department and eventually a small business owner with several auto parts stores. He proudly served our Country in the United States Naval Reserves. Mr. Greene was an avid dancer, card player and prankster. He also was a collector of cars, especially Corvettes.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, the former Francine Storke whom he married December 16, 1984. They had a blended family of six children: Donald W. Greene of Orlando, Florida, Catherine D. Horner of Lincoln, Nebraska, William E. Mills of Flagler Beach, Florida, Michael J. Mills of Orlando, Florida, John D. Greene of Highland Beach, Florida, and Mary E. Bryant of Glen Burnie, Maryland. He is also survived by a sister, Marion Thompson of New Paltz, New York, eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
