Dorothy K Watson, 96, of Flagler Beach, entered into rest with her family by her side on January 3, 2025. Dorothy was born in New Jersey to John and Clara Downing on July 5, 1928. Dorothy Watson loved her family and enjoyed celebrating many of her themed birthday parties with them. She also enjoyed playing cards, playing scrabble, and swimming with her grandchildren. She and her husband, William, moved to Palm Coast in 1979 from Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. She was employed with Council on Aging in Flagler Beach.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving husband, William J Watson, her son-in-law, James C. Whitehead, and her infant granddaughter, Kristen Erin Whitehead.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Connie Whitehead, Cynthia (Ken) Moon, and Patricia (Cenan) Ozmeral, her grandchildren, Jami Whitehead Gallegos (Rick Durgin, fiancé), Kaan Ozmeral, Alex Tallon, Erol “Jace” Ozmeral, Alisha Bhadelia Ozmeral, Patrick Tallon, Katherine Ozmeral Longest, Justin Longest, Alexandra “Ali” Ozmeral (Cole Brossart, fiancé), her great grandchildren, Reyna Katherine Ozmeral, Marina Alexis Ozmeral, William Ozmeral Longest, Gates Ozmeral Longest, and many other family and friends that loved her dearly.
There will be a Graveside Service for Dorothy on January 17, 2025 at 3pm at Flagler Memorial Gardens.
