He was born in Marine Park Brooklyn to Edmund John O'Donnell and Gertrude Rita Finn. He spent his childhood in brooklyn alongside his sister whom he shared a close bond with and built cherished memories together. From an early age, Ed had a knack for turning ordinary moments into extraordinary ones. Whether it was cracking a perfectly timed joke, dancing the twist, or lighting up a room with his playful spirit, he reminded us all not to take life too seriously. He had a heart as big as his smile and always made everyone around him laugh.
A proud Brooklynite, he was a lifelong fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers, holding on to their memory long after they left Ebbets Field. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Agnes with whom he shared an enduring love. Edmund is survived by his loving sister Ellen, his cherished daughter Laura and many loved nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many close family friends, especially Cyndie Boyles whom he regarded as a second daughter. He was also extremely close to Beth Keer,Cheryl Massaro, Maria and Armindo Santos, and Ken and Dorothy Wall, all of whom he loved very much. Rest in peace Pop. You will be incredibly missed and forever remembered.
