Eileen M. Cederberg

Eileen M. Cederberg, age 70, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on August 23, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. Born on July 13, 1954, in Bayonne, New Jersey, Eileen was the daughter of the late Martin and Ruth Murray.

A proud graduate of Clifton High School, Eileen met the love of her life, William Cederberg, in April 1970. They married on October 6, 1973, and together they raised two daughters in Waldwick, New Jersey. Eileen worked for many years as the Secretary to the principal at Traphagen Elementary School in Waldwick before retiring in 2012. In 2013, she and Will relocated to Palm Coast, Florida, where she continued to enjoy her passions and serve her community.

Eileen had a vibrant spirit and a love for baking, becoming well-known for her beautifully decorated birthday cakes and for spending cherished moments baking cookies with her grandchildren. Her community involvement was also a testament to her generous heart; she volunteered at Wadsworth Elementary School, reading to children, and contributed her time at the food banks for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Churches, as well as the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Eileen is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Will; her daughters, Colleen and her husband, Cameron Sabiel and Meghan and her husband, Mike Marcucilli; and her cherished grandchildren, Hailey, Mackenzie, Jackson, and Teddy. She is also remembered fondly by many loving relatives and dear friends.

A memorial gathering for Eileen will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
