

Frank graduated from Seton Catholic High School in 1963. He briefly attended Niagara University in New York before enlisting in the United States Army. During his distinguished military career, Frank rose through the ranks from Private to Major. He attended Officer Candidate School, served honorably in the Vietnam War, and concluded his 20 years of service at the Pentagon.
While serving in the Army, Frank attended the University of Tampa, where he earned his BS in Industrial Management with a minor in Physics. He later completed a Master’s Degree (MS & MBA) in Economics and Marketing and Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and went on to obtain a certification in mediation from Harvard Law School.
Following his retirement from the military, Frank embarked on a successful 40-year career in real estate. In 2001, he relocated to Palm Coast, Florida, and worked with Atlantic Ocean Realty in Flagler Beach. He was an active member of the Flagler Board of Realtors and served the community in numerous leadership roles, including Ombudsman, President of the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), and with Flagler County Economic Development.
Frank lived life with energy and passion. He enjoyed CrossFit and served as a strength and conditioning coach at CrossFit BearCat. He also loved spending time at the beach, riding motorcycles, watching sports, his pets, getting head rubs, and cooking and eating good food.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Zedar, parents, Joseph & Alice Zedar, his brother "Father" Thomas Zedar, and his stepmother "Manny" Zedar. Survivors include his wife Maritssa Vazquez Zedar, son Zach Zedar, daughters Andi Zedar and Chelsea Zedar, step son Samuel (Florencia) Vazquez; Step daughter, Jenissa (Vinicius) Leite, daughter in law Jenna Nettles, and grandchildren Sarah (Steven) Smith, Alex Zedar, LeeAnnah Zedar, Bella Sutton, Julian Vazquez, Genesis Vazquez, Sophia Leite, Audrey Nettles; great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Silas Smith.
Frank will be remembered for his dedication to service, leadership, warrior spirit, faith, hilariousness, love for others and his zest for life.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, located at 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida, 32136. The service is scheduled for January 25, 2026, starting at 11:30 am.
Additionally, a Celebration Of Life Gathering will take place at the same venue on January 25, 2026, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm.
