She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in mid-2018. With her family by her side, she dealt with the diagnosis for the last five years with courage, dignity, and grace.
Ghislaine was born in Port au Prince, Haiti on November 19, 1946. She was the daughter of Celina (nee Torchon) Pierre and was raised by Man Tiyen who both predeceased her.
Ghislaine came to the United States and settled in the state of New York in 1973. She traveled a bit during 1975 - 1979 due to her husband Jerome being in the US Army. When Jerome ended his tour in 1979 they returned to New York for nine years then moved to Palm Coast FL in 1988 for a better life.
She is survived by her loving and caring family, her husband of 51 years Jerome, her daughters
Elizabeth (Leon), and Jennifer, her only grandson Julian, her granddog Milo and the people she considered her closest and dearest family.
