Jane Anne Leslie, 75, passed away peacefully at her home on May 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 18, 1949, in New York City to the late Herman and Anne Dostal, Jane led a life marked by warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.
Jane embarked on her professional journey with Dun & Bradstreet, where she honed her skills and expertise. Her career later transitioned to become a successful Commercial Real Estate Broker in Manhattan, where her diligence and commitment left an indelible mark.
In 2014, Jane embraced a new chapter, relocating to Palm Coast, Florida, to be closer to her cherished family. She found joy in simple pleasures, spending her days walking her beloved dog Teddy, whose companionship brought her immense comfort. A talented baker, Jane's creme brulee and Irish Soda Bread were treasured by all fortunate enough to taste them.
Jane also found camaraderie in card games with her circle of friends, delighting in their laughter and companionship. However, her heart belonged to the New York Yankees baseball team, where she passionately cheered them on through victories and defeats.
Jane's kindness knew no bounds, and she had a soft spot for animals. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Flagler Humane Society, a cause close to her heart.
Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Dostal. She is survived by her devoted sister, Ellen Dostal, loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of amazing friends whose lives she enriched with her presence.
In the quiet moments of reflection, Jane will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her compassionate spirit, and the love she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she may be gone from our sight, her memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.
