

Kathleen “Kathy” Connors, 67, of Palm Coast, FL. passed away on June 6, 2017 after a brief but courageous battle against cancer. Kathleen was born November 10, 1949. She was born, raised and educated in Derby, England. She was the daughter of Frank and Bridget Clulow. When her family moved to the United States in 1966, they settled in Weymouth Mass. Where she met her future husband James M. Connors of Quincy, Mass. Kathy and Jim were married 48 years ago in May 1969 in Weymouth, Mass. They then lived in Quincy and Marshfield, Mass., before moving to Florida in 1973. Kathy was a local property manager and a long time employee of Bob’s Space Racers of Holly Hill FL. Kathleen loved to sew, knit and quilt. She was an avid boater and enjoyed many years on their motor yacht “Gonagain”. She was a former member of the Matanzas River Yacht Club, Palm Coast Yacht Club the DAV auxiliary, and Trinity Presbyterian Church. She lived in Port Orange and Ormond Beach before moving to Palm Coast in 1994. Kathy and Jim have a daughter, Colleen Connors, grandchildren Dalton Connors, Gabrielle Connors and Jarrod Connors. One Great granddaughter Mackenzie Connors all of Palm Coast. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Clulow (Pamela) of New Hampshire. Sisters in law Cathleen Cooke (Charles) of Jacksonville, FL. Marianne Keith of Quincy MA., Linda Decker of Daytona Beach, brother in law Gerald Connors (Wendy) of Quincy. She leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Kathleen was a beautiful gentle soul, once you met her you just loved her. She was a wonderful dedicated mother and wife. She loved her family more than anything. Kathy made sure her daughter and grandkids had good and well-rounded lives growing up. Donations in her memory can be made to Nemours Children’s Hospital Orlando. A visitation will be Saturday, June 10, 4:00-8:00PM at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S. Flagler Beach. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, June 11, 4:00PM at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 Fla Park Dr. N. Palm Coast with a reception following at the Elk’s Club Palm Coast.
